Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong met with a group of US Representatives on Monday in Beijing.

The delegation was headed by Rep. Marcia Fudge, D-Ohio, chair of the Congressional Black Caucus.

During the meeting, Liu said China and the United States have immense room for cooperation politically, economically and culturally.

Briefing the U.S. lawmakers on the China-US High-level Consultation on People-to-People Exchange, Liu called on the Congressional Black Caucus to play their special role in promoting people-to-people exchanges and advancing a new state-to-state relationship model between the two countries.
