Italian Modolo wins Tour of Qinghai Lake 11th stage

The best sprinter Sacha Modolo from Italy's Bardiani Valcole - CSF INOX (BAR) took the first place and kept his green jersey on Thursday in the 11th stage of the 12th Tour of Qinghai Lake cycling race.

This is Modolo's fifth victory in this year's race.

Pourseyedigolakhour Mirsamad of Iran's Tabriz Petrochemical Team (TPT) kept his yellow, blue and polka-dot jersey, which represent the leader of general classification, best Asian rider and best climber respectively.

The eleventh stage covers a distance of 123 kilometers from Helanshan Stadium to Huanghedao Ecological Park in Yinchuan, the capital city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, including two sprints and no climb. This is the first time that the Tour of Qinghai Lake has extended its race route to Yinchuan.
