Summer Palace peeved

A photo uploaded to Sina Weibo showing several men urinating against a wall near the 17 Arches Bridge at the Summer Palace has triggered public outrage, the Beijing News reports.

A microblogger surnamed Cao, who uploaded the photo, said he witnessed the scene on Sunday. "All the men [urinating] were adult tourists," Cao said, adding the offending group numbered more than 10.

Management from the Summer Palace on Tuesday denounced the act, saying the site is home to more than 150 public toilets with at least three public toilet blocks located near the 17 Arches Bridge.
