Shanghai Film Museum unveiled

Shanghai (CNS) - The Shanghai Film Museum was unveiled on Sunday and now open to the public. The four-floor museum covers more than 10,000 square meters and features 3,000 exhibits from 14 film masters in Chinese movie history.

Established at the original site of the Shanghai Film Group Corp, the museum also includes "audience experience areas" for visitors to learn about the production of movies.

The museum will premiere some movies during the 16th Shanghai International Film Festival, which opened Saturday and runs for nine days.
