Political advisory body to hold session next week

The Standing Committee of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's political advisory body, plans to convene its second session starting on June 17.

In preparation for next week's session, a meeting of the CPPCC National Committee chairman and vice chairpersons was held here on Thursday.

Thursday's meeting was presided over by Yu Zhengsheng, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee.
