Movies made with love! A new initiative has been launched to make more children's films accessible to the blind. The event has taken place at The National Library for the Visually Impaired, and its organizer hopes to help disadvantaged children experience the beauty of movies.

Though they can't see, these children are cheerful and excited to experience movies.

40 media groups are involved in this fresh initiative rallied by the Ministry of Education. They are advocating for copyrights to more films, which would be remade into versions accessible to visually impaired kids.

Hou Keming, director of China Children's Film Association, said, "It's really hard for blind children to enjoy movies. So the makers of 51 films have given their copyrights to The National Library for the Visually Impaired so they can be re-dubbed and edited for the children. "

There are almost 17 million blind people in China, 130 thousand of whom are school-age children.

To bring films closer, more and more movies are being prepared just for them.

Over 120 children take part in the event -- the perfect gift just in time for Children's Day.
