Chinese President Xi Jinping has just left Beijing for a visit to Latin America. President Xi will visit three countries there, Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica and Mexico.
The visit to Trinidad and Tobago is the first by a Chinese President in 39 years. President Xi will then move on to meet his US counterpart, Barack Obama, in California.
