China issues revised golf rule book

In an effort to ensure that golfers here in China are playing golf the right way the China Golf Association has released a new edition of their Rule Book with what it says, are more accurate translations of the standard rules of the game.

The new Rule Book should help to clear up any confusion over what was stated in the previous edition and the USGA and R&A rules which help govern the game across the globe. Changes in the new edition relate to a number of aspects, including a better explanation of penalty strokes. The China Golf Association says the revised Rule Book will help the game develop in a more scientific, standard and healthier way.
