China International Search and Rescue Team has expressed its concern about a powerful earthquake that jolted Iran-Pakistan border Tuesday.

The quake fatalities are likely to rise due to the poor anti-seismic property of construction in the quake region, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

A 7.7-magnitude quake jolted Iran-Pakistan border region at 6:44 p.m. on Tuesday (Beijing Time), according to the CENC.
