3 years after quake: a brand new look in Yushu

Sunday marks the third anniversary of the powerful earthquake that struck Northwest China's Qinghai province.

Retail space per capita is between 3 to 4 square meters, the same as in China's major tourism cities. Landmark architectures such as a museum for the prefecture, a Kham Tibetan Art Centre, and a tourism centre are all set to be complete within five months, which will give the ancient town a brand new look.
