Transaction prices of secondhand local car plates will not be able to surpass the average price of new plates auctioned in the previous month, local media reported Thursday.
The new rule aims to regulate the secondhand car plate market. The average bid for new vehicle plates hit 83,571 yuan ($13,445) last month.
