Netizens detail their expectations on leadership transition

Over in cyberspace, microblogging site Weibo is abuzz with netizens airing their views on the leadership transition. CCTVNEWS closely followed this online activitiy and carried out some surveys during the two sessions. In our latest survey, we asked the public what their expectations were from the new government. Let's take a look at the results.

A large majority, that's about 60 percent of the users voted in favour of the issue of livelihood. Housing issues, education, food quality and so on are the top concerns of the public.

Frequent smoggy days in the nation's capital and pollution have made environment the second most popular issue amongst people with nearly 30 percent expecting some concrete action on this.

Another 10 percent voted for social stability as an important issue while roughly 2.3 percent of users thought that economic development needs greater attention.
