Agenda of 2013 CPPCC Session

The first Session of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference began on March 3rd. The agenda of the session was divided into four parts.

In the first part, CPPCC members heard and deliberated on a work report of the Standing Committee of the 11th CPPCC National Committee, and a report of the Standing Committee of the 11th CPPCC National Committee about its work-handling proposals.

The second part lasted for 4 days. Members attended the First Session of the 12th National People's Congress as non-voting observers, hearing and discussing the Government Work Report and other relevant reports.

In the third part, members spent three days electing the chairman, vice-chairmen, secretary-general and members of the Standing Committee of the 12th CPPCC National Committee.

The first session of the 12 CPPCC will conclude on Tuesday. Before the closing ceremony, members will deliberate on and adopt several documents including a political resolution of the session.

Agenda of 2013 CPPCC Session:

-- Hearing and deliberating on documents, including a work report of the Standing Committee of the 11th CPPCC National Committee;

-- Hearing and discussing the Government Work Report;

-- Electing leaders of the Standing Committee of the 12th CPPCC National Committee;

-- Deliberating on and adopting several documents including a political resolution of the Session.
