Two people were injured in a blaze at the Shangdi branch of a chain hotel, Podinns, at 4 am Thursday in Haidian district, the Legal Mirror reported.
Over 70 people were evacuated from the hotel, some of whom climbed out using sheets tied together. The two injured people were sent to hospital, and the hotel manager said it would compensate all the customers.
