Lin signed some autographs for some fans before the game, as he and the Rockets were trying to hand the Knicks their first loss at home. And Houston would get off to a good start thanks to their point guard who was able to get into the lane a couple times to put his team ahead in the first quarter.

The Knicks were without Carmelo Anthony, so J.R. Smith picked up the slack offensively. The former Zhejiang guard scoring 17 off the bench.

Lin looked comfortable being back in MSG and would score 16 points in the first half, as the road team went up 9.

The former Harvard grad was able to get to the lane with ease, but some of his former teammates did not take to kindly to his forays to the hoop. Tyson Chandler coming over with a hard foul on Lin. The reigning defensive player of the year would get tagged with a flagrant foul for an elbow to Lin's head.

Despite that hard foul, the man that started the Lin-sanity craze would continue to go hard to the rack, and Chandler once again was waiting. Thanks to Lin's play, Houston would take a 16 point lead into the half.

Second half and the Rockets continue to lead -- a fast break finishes with a lay-up for Marcus Morris. The visitors up 9.

That lead would swell to 18 as James Harden hits the triple in transition. He finished with 28 to lead the Rockets.

Houston would see their lead increase to 20 points. Lin finishing with 22 points, 8 dimes and four rebounds in his return to MSG.

Lin and the Rockets hand the Knicks their first home loss of the season 109-96.
