Shanghai's Xinhua Hospital treated nine more children Monday who were mistakenly prescribed incorrect medication, the news website Xinmin.cn reported.

The children ranged in age from 8 months to 7 years old. They suffered from vomiting, diarrhea, fever and erythema. Doctors kept the children at the hospital for further testing.

The hospital first began searching for children who had been prescribed incorrect medication Thursday, when it posted a message on its microblog looking for one specific child whom its doctors had treated nine days before.

The hospital found the child the same day with the help of Internet users.
