For Kong Xiangrui, a national model worker, 40 years is not just a number, it reflects a commitment.

Now a 57-year-old delegate of the 18th CPC National Congress, he has been devoted to China's port development ever since he started at Tianjin Port China Coal Hua'neng Coal Terminal Co Ltd, whose ship-loading volume has exceeded 1 trillion metric tons.

"I have to run in the frontline, not just because I'm a worker in this company, but because I'm a Party member," Kong said.

Kong, also the Party branch secretary of the company, attaches great importance to talent training, team building, and innovation for Tianjin's port development.
