At the 2012 London Olympics, China's Xu Lijia made history by becoming China's and Asia's first laser radial sailing gold medallist. But the honours haven't stopped for Xu yet, as she has earned the title of Women's World Sailor of the Year.

Great Britain's Ben Ainslie and China's Xu were named the male and female winners of the 2012 ISAF World Sailor of the Year Awards at a ceremony held in Dublin, Ireland. After winning bronze in the laser radial class in Beijing, Xu stepped up this summer to win the gold in London...and she is China's most decorated women's sailor in history.
