Fifteen people were injured on Wednesday after a bus they had boarded was struck by a cargo-hauling train in east China, the local government reported.

The crash occurred at a railway-road intersection in the city of Qingdao, Shandong Province, at about 1:38 p.m., Qingdao's traffic officials said. One person's finger bones were broken while the others suffered only minor injuries, they added.

Authorities are still probing the cause. Traffic at the crash site has resumed.
