Chinese vice premier meets U.S., Dutch guests

Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan met with Lael Brainard, Under Secretary of the U.S. Treasury Department and Frans Van Houten, president and CEO of the Dutch company of Royal Philips Electronics, respectively, on Thursday.

During his meeting with Brainard, the two sides exchanged views on China-U.S. economic relations and the world economic situation.

During his meeting with Van Houten, the two sides exchanged views on Philips' business development in China and issues of common concern.
