10-day delay for ‘bomb’

A passenger, who was fed up with the complicated airport security checks, claimed his bag contained a bomb Tuesday and was detained, police at Beijing Capital International Airport told the Global Times.

The passenger, surnamed Chen, was asked to take out his cameras and lenses for a second check at Terminal 3 Tuesday afternoon. He became angry and shouted "there is a bomb in my bag!"

The security employee called police. Chen will be detained for 10 days.
