Chairwoman of Russian Federation Council to visit China

Valentina Matvienko, chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly, will pay an official visit to China from Sept. 5 to 8.

Matvienko was invited by Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislative body.
