Eighteen of the 33 crew members have been saved. Five were already confirmed dead, leaving the latest missing fishermen at 10.

Typhoon Bolaven caused two Chinese fishing boats to capsize Tuesday, near South Korean port of Hwasun in Jeju's Seogwipo. The fishing boats are from Weihai city of East China's Shandong province.

South Korean media say two crew members reported the accident to South Korean authorities after coming ashore, and sixteen others were rescued later by South Korean coast guards.

Eight rescued crew member were taken to a hospital for treatment, and two of them are reported to be seriously hurt. The Jeju-based Chinese Consulate is in close contact with local police in the search and rescue efforts.
