The Tiangong-1/Shenzhou-9 space delegation concluded its four-day visit to Hong Kong and departed for Macao on Monday.

Hong Kong Chief Executive CY Leung hosted a farewell ceremony for the delegation at Government House before their departure. Leung presented a set of DVDs and photo albums recording the delegation's visit to Hong Kong to delegation leader Niu Hongguang and the three astronauts, Jing Haipeng, Liu Wang and Liu Yang.

Leung thanked them for visiting, and for giving Hong Kong people a better understanding of the country's aerospace technology development. He asked them to spend more time touring the city on their next visit.

Speaking to the media before departing for Macao, Niu Hongguang said the delegation was deeply impressed by Hong Kong's beautiful scenery, the city's prosperity and openness, and its people's friendliness.

After the farewell ceremony, the delegation took a ferry to Macao from the Hong Kong-Macao Ferry Terminal in Sheung Wan, ending their visit to the territory.

During the four-day visit, the delegation attended various activities and met people from different sectors, including primary, secondary and tertiary students as well as representatives from the women's sector. The delegation also attended the "Hong Kong Welcomes the Delegation of Shenzhou-9 Manned Spaceflight Mission Variety Show" to share the joy of the successful space mission with Hong Kong people.
