"Farewell My Concubine" director Chen Kaige has focused his latest film "Caught in the Web" on cyber-bullying.

Adapted from an online novel, "Caught in the Web" shows the consequences of a woman's simple gesture on a bus ride - she refuses to give up her seat to a senior. There happens to be a journalist on the bus who secretly tapes the scene and puts the video on the Internet. The video attracts tons of insulting comments blaming the woman, and crazy netizens go so far to find her in real life. At the end of the day, the woman's refusal to help a senior changes her life, as well as lives of several other people.

Trivia

Actress Gao Yuanyuan plays the unfortunate woman. While working for the film, the actress fell in love with co-star Mark Chao. They later admitted they are dating each other.
