Beijing subway line 6 begins test run

Beijing Subway Line 6 (Phase 1),  which will open this September in Beijing, May 9, 2012, connects Wuliqiao Station in eastern Beijing to Wuluju Station in western Beijing.

This line will be equipped with eight cars and can support 30 percent more passengers (roughly 500) compared to other trains with just six cars. 85 percent of the main work has been completed, and the line's decoration and performance optimization are in full swing.
