More cheese factor in China View at Workers' Stadium East as yet another pizza joint has opened and joined the ranks of Gung Ho, Annie's, Danger Doyle's and Da Giuseppe, with Papa John's across the street and The Den but a few meters away. Both a restaurant and a bar, Yummy Box will likely become best known for its name and its massive 70 centimeter pies.

Diners will have more Mosto in about two weeks as this Nali Patio restaurant plans to unveil a modest expansion. Half of the extra 20 seats will comprise a private area to be used for business dinners, birthday parties, wine tastings and the like. The expansion will also give Mosto a longer facade and thus mean more seating outside come better weather. Also in Nali Patio, wine bar Enoterra is launching a new menu.

Three partners have opened Brussels Bar and Restaurant in Sanlitun South. The venue had snacks such as onion rings and fries on an initial visit last week, though word is the menu will include mussels, beef stew, waffles and other dishes by the time this is printed. The Belgian beer list includes 13 options at 40 yuan: buy three bottles for 100 yuan or seven bottles for 200. Draft beers range from Tsingtao to Guinness.

Seafood restaurant Starfish and Compass Box are teaming up for a "whisky and women" party on March 8, along with co-organizers 85 Broads and VIVA Beijing. The party, from 6 pm to 8 pm, features Mao Mao Chong's Stephanie Rocard behind the bar. The suggested minimum 100 yuan door fee includes a cocktail made with Compass Box whiskey, three oysters from Oregon and a raffle ticket. Door fees from the party go to Educating Girls of Rural China.

Rumors that the space next to Swire Sanlitun Village's Element Fresh would be for an expansion couldn't have been more wrong. Instead, the signs indicate it will be for the first Beijing outlet of Shanghai-based competitor Wagas, which bills itself as having "healthy gourmet sandwiches."

And Korean restaurant Ssam in Sanlitun Soho plans to launch a new and extensive cocktail list on Monday. The options will include 10 cocktails each made with Korean alcoholic beverages. Ssam will hold a cocktail party on March 17.
