Dogs died after eating ham

"The puppy first vomited some ham pieces, then foamed at the mouth."

Liu Mei, who lives at Huilongguan, Changping district found his 9-month old pet dog died soon after eating some ham off the grass at her complex on Monday. The vet, that Liu took her puppy to, said it died from poisonous food.

On January 19th residents at a residential complex in Daxing district also alleged their dogs were deliberately poisoned by sausage.
