A painting exhibition was held at the Yuan Art Museum in Beijing over the weekend. Unlike other painting exhibitions showcasing works by famous painters, this exhibition featured paintings created by children who suffer from autism.

These lavish colors and bold brush strokes are created by innocent but isolated children who suffer from autism. While the exhibition gives an opportunity to understand the autistic children's shuttered inner world, it also shows society's awareness and concern about the condition.

According to the sponsor, Dian Dian Dream City, painting is an effective way for autistic children to express themselves and build a bridge that connects them with the outside world.

Qi Haiou, general manager of Children's Experience Center, said, "Hundreds of thousands of Chinese families have children who suffer from autism. Autistic children are just like ordinary children, they have their dreams, which are shown in these paintings. They want to be recognized and encouraged. And they need love, from both their families and the society."

The sponsor Dian Dian Dream City has participated in many charity activities. And they hope that this exhibition will help the greater society to understand the inner world autistic children's. And what's more important, it is a very good way for these children to communicate with others.
