(Ecns.cn) -- Major cases involving senior Chinese officials such as Zhang Jiameng, Song Chenguang and Liu Zhuozhi have been transferred to judicial authorities, said Cui Shaopeng, the secretary-general of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China.

At present, China's former Railways Minister Liu Zhijun is suspected of breaking laws and regulations, and the case have been filed and still under investigation, Cui said.

Liu was removed from post over alleged "severe violations of discipline" in February 2011. He was also held responsible for a high-speed train collision last July that killed 40 passengers and injured 172 others.
